PHYSICAL DETAILS - Prolimatech Armageddon

The Armageddon features 6 heatpipes in a straight row and 44 aluminum fins. It measures 144 x 50 x 160.3 mm and weighs about 770 grams.

The Armageddon has the same split at the center of the heatsink as the Megahalems. The fins are 0.51 mm thick and spaced 2.08 mm apart on average.

The Armageddon is noticeably skinny compared to the Megahalems with a width of only 50 mm vs 74 mm. There is a distinct line running down the center of the fins — the body is actually four distinct sections fused together in pairs.

A thick cover on the top keeps the heatpipes and adjoined fins stable.

The heatpipes are soldered to the base plate to improve ensure proper thermal conduction.

The base is composed of nickel-plated copper. It's very flat, but isn't polished that well, giving off a dull reflection.
