PHYSICAL DETAILS:
The hard drive dock has an exterior composed of molded white plastic and measures 152.7 x 91 x 85.5 mm (6.0 x 3.6 x 3.4") and weighs approximately 290 grams. By comparison, the Thermaltake BlacX is narrower and shorter by almost an inch, and weighs 550 grams.

There is a strange slot at the side that MUKii calls a "storage bucket" for any odds and ends like screws or a notebook drive tray. At the back there are some thin ventilation slots at the back of the device.

The dock takes both 2.5" and 3.5" drives (it has a spring-loaded 3.5" door). Unfortunately the unit does not have an eject button and it doesn't feel that sturdy due to its low weight.

Underneath are four rubber pads to prevent slippage.

The adapter takes a SATA or 40-pin/44-pin IDE input. The included USB cable is about 84 cm long.

For compatibility reasons, the AC power adapter uses a 4-pin molex connector with an adapter cable provided for SATA drives.

The power cable is very long, 137 cm from the outlet to a small box switch, then another 30 cm to the molex connector.
