INTERIOR
The internals of the X-Pro are neatly laid out, with somewhat unusual heatsinks
covering most of the PCB. The output cables are nicely wrapped around the side
towards the cable connectors, placed out of the way of the main airflow inside.
The black heatsinks are a change from what we saw in the Ultra's
X-finity PSU. At first glance, there appears to be more surface area than
in the earlier model, but a more careful examination reveals that perhaps the
total amount of aluminum is about the same; it's the arrangement that has changed.
It's not clear whether the new HS fins would require more or less airflow for
the same degree of cooling. More surface area does seem to be exposed to the
fan's airflow.

The heatsinks cover the majority of the PCB.

The PCB fills almost the entire case.
The main capacitor is rated for 105°C, higher than the usual 85°C.
It is a nice touch for low airflow systems where high heat might become an issue.

FAN
The 140mm fan inside only shows the Ultra logo, and the rated
input voltage. It's unusual in that it has 11 blades instead of the usual seven
or five and is slightly larger than the usual 120mm fan. A UL search brings
up a little more information about the real manufacturer of the fan - Young
Lin Tech Co LTD. Their web site http://www.yltc.com.tw/ appears
to be inoperative, but the last letter (H) of the fan's model number indicates
that it is a high speed model.

A "high" speed 120mm fan.
