THE CHASSIS
The chassis is indeed tiny measuring only 15 x 11 x 4.5cm. Despite
its size, it is well contructed and the top cover has a nice glossy
finish.
The front panel is very simple, featuring four USB ports and connectors
for audio line-out and mic. There are also power and HDD activity lights.
The left and right sides are identical with a wavey line of ventilation
holes punched into them and a set of mounting holes for installation in
a 5.25" bay.
Holes are cut out of the back of the enclosure to accomodate the power
adapter and VGA and RJ45 ports. There is also a small vent for the board's
fan.
Removing a single screw at the back allows the top cover to slide
off. The enclosure ships with nothing installed inside except for the
front panel circuitry. The floor of the case has vents on both sides. |
