ASSEMBLY
System assembly was fairly straightforward. A Buffalo 1GB DDR2
SO-DIMM and Samsung 40GB IDE notebook hard drive were used to fill out the system.

The Artigo is designed such that the motherboard mounts above the hard
drive. Thus, the memory slot needs to be populated beforehand.

The hard drive is installed upside
down and screwed in through the sides to a mounting bracket
which doubles as the motherboard mounting tray.
The board is screwed into the top of the tray with the hard drive
underneath.
An IDE adapter board is used to connect the board to the drive. VIA
also provides an ATA cable for whatever reason.
