that looks about right. I bought water wetter though. It looks like it works very well for many setups so that means it should work fine in a non-oc'd setup with a Resserator rig. anti-bacterial is my quest now. I think no one has an answer for this. Like ever/anywhere. blech. I also bought Poland S...

Eh, well, if i had to make one with case fans and a phantom (my phantom is in its box I just bought it) ... I would put one 120 in front and one in back. I would get 2 nexus fans. I would put the back one at like 5-6 volts and the front one at a more obvious push. This would create a lot of air flow...

Zalman officially rejects Anti-freeze. :(
I just called the tech people of Zalman. Normally, in months/years past, every time they gave me advice or info it was accurate. If this is, then well, there you go... I asked if there should be some sort of additive used in their Reserator. The tech was very happy that I had one and asked me to tel...

Never liked water wetter. Smells like something that the word filter on here would block. Leaves a residue on the majority of systems Ive seen people use it in. My vote goes for Propylene Glycol AF, Distiled, and iodine. Iodine.... I think that loves to react with metals. Its a non-metal. I think i...

It's not my place to say whether it would be better or not for the Phantom (perhaps AntecRep can answer that question), but having a Nexus in the back as well as a Nexus in the front will give you a pressure-neutral case (neither negative pressure nor positive pressure). By only having one Nexus in...

Bacteria, maybe an old question, but well here it is again!
Hi, I am all giddy with my new reserator and vga block all raring to go. Now i must get Water Wetter. from redline right, only one type right? eh? Ok, well, I searched for wetter and for bacteria in the forums. Found stuff mentioning it, found stuff saying i should get some bacterial-cidal sort of t...

hm, well thanks much for the warning. yeah, i duno, router should be silent, its has a really loud hiss, well loud for no moving parts or speakers :) i dont think its coil whine, its like air being let out of a valve sounding. freaky. on all 3 routers. I like only linksys so that might be my problem...

Hissing Router, yeah, its louder than youd think.
I have 3 Linksys routers, the blue boyz with the 4 port/switch/firewall. The ol' classic types. i have a few versions of same bfsr41 or something like that, spanning several years of purchases. They all hiss at a high pitch, its so obvious and irritating, a large blanket sits on it. I am like confus...

well, um, why not? I am assuming your board has a minimum setting for fan speed, some sort of one. Zalman's at like 1400-ish rpm normally dont tip off the bios to say IM GOING TO DIE AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA and shut down on you. you just need an rpm meter from that fan to connect to the motherboard, I beli...

Not many amd64 mobo's support undervolting at all. ??? Are you kidding? That's one of AMD's major marketing devices for the A64, Cool n Quiet. My Athlon 64 is currently passively cooled at .950V, if system demand rises, it'll bump itself up and the fan will kick in. thats not undervolting it. your ...

I can say with all honesty that a front fan is a wonderful thing. But not in general. I so am looking forward to positive pressure in my next setup (p180 where are you....) The recommended seasonics do not do as well when you have a large draw near them, they actually ramp up more. Someone said NO I...

Socket 754 means AGP which kindof sucks! Any PCI-e s754 boards out there? This is simply a rev. E0 winchester core (with single channel s754 1 MB cache etc) right? PCI-e has absolutely no effect on anything besides being, um a different slot. There are no conceivable vid cards out there that gain a...

wow, good info thanx. Now two questions: 1. Is he san diego 90nm ? (i think this is a yes) 2. What particular computing functions does more cache above 512k do better? I am considering more cache vs more speed. The reason being that in tests past, at least for gaming, the 0.2 ghz increase in speed d...

Well, quieter yeah, in a small way. 2-3 watts isnt going to break the bank compared to all the other heat makers in the box. Hm, ok, so no 1mb cache. I kinda wanted that. However, theres one thing I dislike more than not having that, and that is spending a lot of money. Also, at monarch, I dont see ...

Well, tin snips are needed for the grills. I dont know if this would effect the structural integrity of the unit. There is a bridge/junction of some sort of metal/metal on the back. Looks rather nice though with its extra breathers in the side and near the pci's which I find nowadays to be a good pl...

Yes I agree with that, we should have 2 quality aluminum cases that already are in the quiet category tested fully. Sometimes, people test ones with 3000 holes in them, or they are small, or they dont use new spcr rated fans in it. I for one think that we should have all cases reviewed that are stri...

Also note: if you go too small like 5000 btu's for an ac, its normally made by a smaller company and all will sound as loud, which is rather loud. you need to hit like 8 to make sure that the brand is really that brand. (opposite for GE, panasonic makes some of the smaller-ish ones for it and can be...
