Then I lowered the VCORE as low as I could (0.9) and set the CPU multiplier to 6, and finally began raising the FSB. I managed to reach an FSB of 360 (6x360 = 2160Mhz) and yet ...

Also, having activated SpeedStep, using RM Clock, I am only able to combine FIDS with a minimum value of 1.1 volt. (In bios I can use much lower) Is i...

Thanks all for your feedback! When Strid wrote PicoPSU my thoughts turned to finding a case without PSU. But I also started thinking about MINI-ITX. Speaking of ITX I found two motherboards from Intel, DQ45EK and DG45FC. But after reading a review about the later of the two boards here at SPCR, the ...

To tell you the truth, I was actually planning on building this system to my parents. But as I've got some very interesting input I've started to drift towards making it my own system and giving mine to them =) Some more questions: Will that huge Thermaltake will fit into a Antec Sonata case? Are th...

Medium fast intel core 2 duo
Hi guys I've been off for a couple of years and would appreciate some guidelines, thanks. These are my thoughts: *Intel Core 2 Duo G0 stepping (FSB 1333) *Some after market HSF *RAM (2x1024) that supports 1333 *Motherboard properties: - FSB1333 support - No fans - Hardware support variable fan speed...

The card I linked to is in fact a AGP card, and it´s hard to tell whether they pcb layout has this 45-degree GPU angle rotation. I´m also thinking about the red heatsink that is placed down to the right from the GPU,, if that might ruin my plans of using a ZM80D? I also think I´ve read somewhere ...

thx for your replies. To be really honest, I dont know what Im doing - some sort of consumer madness. The way things are now, almost 100% silent, I can play the game I play (cs 1.6),, and using vista would probably just slow down the speed I handle my computer environment right now. I guess it´s a ...

Is this card: "XFX PVT73AUDE3" really quiet? I´ve been looking for a 7600GT based passivly coold card for some time now without success,, but then I came to think of fan control. Being in windows cant require too much efforts from the gfxcard,, and then simply use a "down-clock-gpu-and-mem" app bin...

9800 pro fanless cooling solution
I need something to cool my 9800 pro without a fan. I do play alot of counter-strike. alt:s that I´ve read about: ZM80A-HP <- to heavy? ZM80C-HP <- fan needed @ faster cards ZM80D-HP <- fan needed @ faster cards Then I basicly thought that there couldn´t be any good alt:s, but then I saw that Sapphi...
