Got my new HD103SJ just before the holiday and pretty much finished installing everything and copying files etc. This is my mini-review. Did some crystalmark comparison to see how much an upgrade this would make from the HD510LJ I was replacing, also throwing in my storage drive (WD15EARS) for good ...

IMO the Dell Latitude X1 is the best you can go. It has no fans and the only moving part is the 1.8"-HD. The computer is very light at 1.15 kg (about 2.5 lbs), inaudiable from four inches away and capable of running all office-browsing apps you'd like with it's 1.1 GHz ULV centrino. Upgradeable to 2...

Seems you have to leave pretty much everything at default. Chech this thread at Anandtech, page 17, fourth post from the top:

Btw: The Samsung runs HOT! So hot, that I have to include it in my watercooling system to be on the safe side. Tom's hardware had the surface temp of the 501lj and the 5000ks within 1 degree of each other--45 and 46C (I forget which was which). I have both these drives and for me the 5000KS is the ...

P4-m voltmod, help needed

I've purchased a P4-m 1.9GHz processor with SL6DR stepping. It's detected as 1.9 (19x100) GHz by my Asrock P4i64G mobo, but it runs at a terrifying 1.75V according to BIOS. The mobo doesn't allow for vcore change. :( I've read several discussions about the P4-m as well as the excellent guide by wjda...
