does anyone know if a Thermalright XP-120 will be able to fit on this board in any shape way or form with the AM2 RM (rev. B)? if someone can figure out how to make it work, please let me know - I'm just assuming that it won't fit due to the tall caps right next to the socket: (given that heatpipes ...

pwm = pulse width modulation (pretty sure) these are the ones that pulse the voltage to fan, so when you lower the fan speed, it just pulses it with 12v less times per second than it would with the fan at full speed a true fan controller that regulates (not pulses) the voltage will have heatsinks on...

the sunbeam rheobus (available in black and silver) can turn voltages from 0-12v, with a bi-color LED indicating the voltage level - red (below 7v) to blue (above 12v) and its not a crappy PWM controller either, so fans run smoother and quieter on it 4 channels @ 20w a peice i love mine :) www.jab-t...

i really want something with more than 48cfm, considering 10 out of 15 fans will be for use on thermochill PA 120.x series radiators, i'd rather get the M model over the S and if i need to make it quieter, just undervolt it with my rheobus

ok, i know i'm ressurecting this thread, but i remember this thread from a while ago - has it been 100% confirmed that the fans sold by the PCTekOnline store are the D12SM-12 Yate Loons? if so, time to go order 15 for my new case :) (somewhat quiet, but well-cooled is what i'm aiming for) thanks guy...

they don't start at 5v - already tried (all 6 of them) and when i spin them with my finger - there is absolutely zero bearing noise, and they spin for a decent amount of tiem (maybe 20-30 seconds) before coming to a complete stop - delta doesn't cheap out on bearings :) and on their site, they...

Help! What 120mm Fans are Best Suited for Use on a Radiator?

alright - i just bought a bunch of delta's from excess-solutions.com, and i can handle the noise, but i REALLY, REALLY wanna go back to a PC that sounds like a normal desktop (~30-35dba) (kinda wasted cash on the deltas, but they were only $4 a peice, so oh well) so now i'm basically looking to find...
