I'm surprised how well the free www.quakelive.com works. It seems smoother than my unreal tournament GOTY running on my pc.

Also, the NF7-S came with soundstorm - which made mp3's sound like they were eminating from a hifi. I miss soundstorm - I bought the shuttle SN45G which had it and took soundstorm for granted until I 'upgraded' my system. Tried the renowned asus xonar sound card but it's no match for the soundstorm ...

Which case?

Aesthetics aside, which how do you rate the following combos:

1. Antec A150 (with included psu)
2. Antec SLK3000B + seasonic
3. Evercase + seasonic

With all the psu troubles of the A150, I'm thinking perhaps the less painful route would be number 2.

What do you folks think?

It's a pity you cannot get hold of the AEGO2's - they are great. Come with high quality gold-plated cables/connections also.

I'm tempted to buy another set just incase they get even harder to find over here.

I would very strongly recommend Acoustic Energy AEGO2 if you can get them. They are excellent but very hard to find. I bought my set for 99 GBP and I absolutely love them. Sound quality at very low volume is excellent and you won't feel the need to turn them up to appreciate the sound even though th...

How quiet is this case compared to an SLK3000B+SeaSonic PSU?

This case would cost half the price of the above here in the UK.

Are the fortron/powerman psu's very competant?

The AX8 has a 20-pin connector. How can you tell if the AX8 is 20-pin? I tried searching for it on the Abit site and looked at the manual aswell but couldn't tell. If it is 20pin for sure, then I think I will compromise and buy the following case: http://www.arctic-cooling.com/pc_case2.php?idx=12&d...

I was preparing for the election, but alas I was defeated this time around. The trouble with political jokes are that they always seem to get elected! I wonder which country will be picked on this time :( Anyway, I've read that with Geil value ram an fsb of 230-240 could be achieved. It costs around...

(I'll have to read up on this aam thing - first time I've come accross this).

Thank you for your very imformative reply Tibors. I am getting more confident with my final spec. I still need to source the antec 3000b in the UK. Any thoughts on the Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 10? 3) RS480M2-IL | A64 3000+ | Freezer 64 | SS-301HT | 7200.7 PATA 40GB

Are you satisfied with the freezer 64? or would you recommend I go for the Thermalright 90 if there is a big difference in noise?
