The answer is, noticably quieter. Then again, as Devon says, putting in quiet parts matters much more than how quiet the case is. Ok, thanks. Hey, thanks for the reply. I already listened to all the recording, and yes, the numbers for the hdd are manufacturer specs, i just used the numbes to compare the 2 drives. The seagate is pretty much silent, I can only tell it's running when under load even with the bare drive sitting in front of me...
