- Topic: Yate Loon 140mm fan starting voltage? "L" version

I have both the L and M versions. The L version doesn't start anymore at 5 volts after 1.5 years (it started at 5v everytime when it was new). I always run it at 7v, and it always starts reliably. My version doesn't have tacho. My guess is that it runs at 600rpm at 5v and 750 at 7v. The M version ha...

You don't actually believe that only the religious oppose abortion? I do, I also believe most of the people who vote for more liberal abortion laws are religious as well . Especially in a country like Portugal, which is a very very religious country. Actually the religion in Portugal did not affect...

Bluefront, If I were you, I would try to fit a couple of 140mm Yate Loons (medium speed version) which start at 5v and can go up to 1500rpm, they have a good sound quality, made mainly of airflow. They are very quiet at 5v. They have a massive airflow too. Space for fitting them, of course, may be a...

I've got the 92mm Yate Loon from Silencio and it's the best 92mm fan I've ever seen. (Yate Loon has some quality sleeve bearings I must say..actually I have loonies ranging from 80mm to 140mm sizes). They never let me down. As I already posted my impressions about it (including a very small comparis...

I have some 92mm fans (Noiseblocker SE2, NMB-MAT, Coolermaster Sleeve, Thermaltake Sleeve made by Hong Sheng that comes with the Tsunami Dream and Yate Loon Slow Speed Silencio Edition). The best is the Yate Loon (1500rpm). Almost no bearing noise even at 12v and cools suprisingly well. despiste its...
