I was wondering if Antec or anyone are going to be selling these clips? I'd really like to use them as my vid card is definately running hot in the summer.

In regards to installing a Ninja in a DFI or Asus, once again having done both :D, I can tell you its alot better with the Asus. The spacing around the mobo is the same so its not a clearance issue with either, but the stock backplate that comes with the asus is compatible with the clip that you nee...

had to dig up this old thread since it refers to the Riva Tuner. :D Currently am using this with the above method of it ramping up for higher temps. My question is it seems the lowest fan speed available on the Riva Tuner is 25%. Is there anyway to get lower than this because even at 25% my XFX 7800...

having owned both of these and currently running the Asus, I would recommend the Asus. The DFI NB is exteremly loud and whiney, there are some mods for it but why not just spend the extra ~30 and not have to pay for the mod and waste time installing it. Plus you'll have SLI down the road if you choo...

Asus A8N Premium + P180 Hard Drive LED
Wasn't sure if this belonged in here or motherboards. Has anyone been able to get the LED that shows IDE / SATA activity to work? I used to have an IDE drive with a DFI board and the LED worked then. I have since switched over to the ASUS with a Seagate SATA and it hasn't worked. I don't know if the...

Do I need to plug in the 3 pin for the seasonic s12 500W?
What exactly does the three pin connector do? Is it the fan controller? because the fan seems to be ramping up fine, but that might be my imagination, because my 7800GT does ramp up as well when I play 3d games. If I should plug it in, can I just plug it into any of the lower 3 pin connections? I ha...

You think that's a better way to go? I was concerned the 4-pin power plug won't reach. In fact that was a major reason I selected the Lanparty since the 4-pin was right next to the 24-pin power, which I knew was right, but would reach. I am using the A8N Premium + seasonic S12 + P180 combo right no...

Software used to monitor temps with ASUS A8N-Premium?
Hello all, I used to have a DFI and the Smart Guardian software that came with that is kinda what I am looking for, just a simple app that can minimize to the system tray. I am currently using ASUS probe but the readouts for temp can be annoying because they don't minimize to the tray (or at least I...

sorry to dig up an old thread but I am in the same boat as the OP. Whether to get a Yate Loon or a nexus. both are plentiful here in the US it seems like but price is an issue for me. it looks like Yate Loons go for ~9 and the nexuses ~18 before shipping. I plan on using this as a case fan for the P...

Ok guys, I have a ASUS SLI DELUXE, and I got a scythe ninja...how the hell do i fit it lol? I used the new plastic bit and used the orginal back plate and screws, fitted fine. But when i did that and tried to put on the cooler it would take ALOT of force and im scared i would break the CPU, am i do...

Re: One-off problem?
I installed a ninja onto my 939 X2 yesterday, on an Asus A8V using the stock backplate and screws, changing only the retention clip. Were the screws thread pitch and length the same for stock backplate and Ninja's? Maybe it's a one-off but a guy on an Oz forum has reported that he did fit the corre...

i think its a good idea. if there was something like this the first time i signed up for the boards it wouldve been helpful. even though everyone is just going to vote for whatever they have, i.e. P180, scythe ninja, so it'll be a more what are you using poll but would still be of a great help in my...

The cables barely fits. You'll have to run it over the PCI-slots to fit it or get extenders. I belive they showed the problem in the review of P180 on this site. Might be the PSU-review tho Ninja should fit just fine, lots of people here has Ninja+P180 thanks for the reply, concerning the ninja tho...

P180 + ASUS nforce4 SLI + Seasonic + Scythe Ninja = ok?
Thinking about changing mobos to the the ASUS nforce4 SLI for the passive cooling solution. Has anyone tried this with a P180 and a Seasonic S12 500W? I am concerned about the 4 pin power thats in the top left of the mother board. Will the wires be long enough to reach it? Will I have to snake it th...
