Nice of Silverstone to brush you off... I'll remember that. Definitely contact head office; there's no reason why you shouldn't be able to pay for a replacement. They're distributor in Australia is less than helpful which I'll feed back to Silverstone. I've found some US sites that stock the PSU an...

Silverstone LC11M PSU Failure !! :(
Guys, My PSU has failed in my Silverstone LC11M and my local distributor (Australia) tells me Silverstone doesn't sell them seperately, and as it's out of warranty .. there is nothing I can do. Local distributors in Australia are known to lie blatantly so I've got a call direct to SilvestoneTek to f...

SilverstoneTek LC11M PowerUP via Remote?
For those out there that bought this case, have you got power up to work via a remote control? This isn't working for me and I was wondering if power on events needed to be triggered on internal USB connections rather than external ones maybe? ... or is there something else to it?

Any Diff between Samsung Notebook Drives -- 40GB or 80GB?
Looking to purchase the quietest drive for an HTPC in a living room. Don't need size, ... just enough to boot up mythtv frontend really. The recommendations around here seem to point to the 40GB notebook drive, but there appears to be quote a few released since then. Does anyone know if there is muc...

Video Card Chipsets (thus FANS) mounted the wrong side?!
Is it me or would it make more sence to flip the PCB's of video cards so air blows up, instead of down for tower/midi-tower cases? (apologies if this has been brought up before!) Maybe they don't want all that head directed at the CPU .. but it seems crazy for Video Cards to trap heat under itself! ...

Was about to write a quick experience but saw the above topic requesting help.. and was going to write a reply, only to find it's locked! So here it is... They all recommend it! With a 2GHz+ CPU you can easily acco...

Well, I don't think this topic is covered well on SPCR. Which DVD drive produces the least noise when they spin up? What do you use your DVD drive primarily for? Is it for watching DVD's and the like ... or gaming? My understanding is that the only major way to quiten down a DVD drive is to slow it...

Ok. You are correct though. Unless you have an application running in 64-bit mod...

I would assume that the outside temp, is different from the inside temp and not a good reading to take unless one understands the ratio between the two due to the constant heat disipation off of the HDD casing. I'm assuming the probe for HD's that SMART reads from is actually internal. Would that be...
