UPS takes about 4W to 10W
PS takes takes about 3W with S5 (same with S4) and 4W with S3. My system (i5-860) uses 8W with S4 or S5 and 9W with S3.

Indeed. If undervoltage too much EP35-DS3P (two other G33 boards) will end with endless reboot cycles, exactly the same as ill behaved S3 resume. Those problems occur whenever cpu voltage is set to be less than 1.000. However my S3 resume problem is different. Even with optimal defaults values in bi...

After swapping E6700 with Q9450, my EP35-DS3P will not resume from S3 sleep (endless rebooting cycle). Before, after disabling "loadline", S3 sleep was fine. Notice that I have 2x2GB ram sticks and my video is ATI 3450. Last night I removed one ram stick (as long as leaving one stick in any of four ...

Gigabyte's c.i.a usage
I searched this site and could find the mention of c.i.a. So I add something how I used it for dynamic fsb with undervolting mb (it is not my idea. I found it on the net). I have GA-EP35-DS3P mb. Originally I had E6700 cpu and I didn't have S3 resume problem after disabling readline in Bios. However...

I got ep35-ds3p a couple of weeks ago. I can confirm that speedfan cannot control cpu fan. I did not try the software control setting in speedfan though. When cpu fan is set to auto in bios, it runs full speed with 3pin fan. After setting fan to voltage with smart fan enable, my cpu fan finally slow...

Well. The explanation I got from my dealer was that Antec refuses to RMA because it is "configuration's fault": its +12V rail offers advertised 16A and Intel 830 and 840 require 16A continuous and 19A peak for 10ms. They sited this intel web: http://www.intel.com/cd/channel/reseller/asmo-na/eng/2164...

Antec does not offer fix option for Neo HE 430
In later December I ordered two P150 with ASUS P5WD2 premium, Intel 830 D cpu, and 2GB ram. Two systems are almost identical except one has two harddisks. During installation, my dealer informed me these two Neo HE 430 will not power up sytems (in Jan). So I ordered two SS S12 430 to replace them an...

Here I add some info, in addition that given in Neo HE Poll thread. I ordered my two systems on Dec 20. When I ordred them, I was aware of the problem of Neo HE 430 with ASUS AMD cpu. But I did not find it has any problem with intel CPU. These sytems are basically the same case P150 mb ASUS P5WD2 Pr...

Thank you for clarifying, MikeC. The company I ordered my systems is an authorized dealer of intel. Here is part of message: ******* Both existing power supplies (Neo HE 430W PSU's) unfortunately are having problems with this configuration. The system with the two hard drives completed POST, would h...

Neo He 430 does work with ASUS P5WD2 Premium
Last month I ordered two P150/ASUS P5WD2 Premium/P4 830 from a local campany. Today the technician who is assembling my systems told me that Neo He 430 will not boot both system. He suspected that +5V line is too weak (only 14A) and a non ame ps 350W can boot my systems because the +5V line is 32A. ...
