Maybe I was not exact with this "calibration sound". I found, in one thread, something like that: "I'm not certain you would be entirely satisfied with the scorpio. It seems to do some seeks every second or two, similar to what people have said Hitachi do with their ABLE drives. I didn't investigate...

Hi! I am going to buy a 40 GB 5400 rpm 2.5 drive. I cannot decide between Samsung MP0402H and WD Scorpio WD400VE. I've heard that Scorpios have a "clicking problem".
