I was just looking at the same fan. bizarre. thanks for review.
I decided to stay with the hack I made (very quiet and heavier than normal) old traditional sleeve fan, 3 pin.
and change the front fan to a thermal operation from dells leftovers.
I will put that in another thread now.

My APC ES 750 works just fine with my Corsair PSU. There's a bit of PSU noise when the UPS has a powerline noise/voltage event trigger it active, but that's it. I don't think the simulated sine wave will hurt the PSU. Buying a used UPS: it's the replacement battery costs that add up. APC battery li...

wow. I am glad to have found this, I forgot all about the ups. I have had some weird things happening, unlikely squeals with power out etc. I upgraded to active pfc not all that long ago. The UPS cost is ridiculous, my old back ups es 500va was over 100 dollars, has a thicker cord than a new one, an...

I spotted the post of bumpy whale flippers aiding in fluidity. I was bored and popped some .25 inch aluminum rivets in my ailing pc fan, which is not a zalman underneath, it is something else. http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd255/soob87/pcfan3.jpg the extra weight stopped the buzzer in the duct,...

I get it in seasonal changes, related to steel. Would it make sense to use the slot blower as an intake to blow cool air directly on a passive graphics card?
