You should only worry about the loading temp not the idle temp. Typical cooling problem are seating the heatsink correct and apply correct thickness thermal compound. you can try to use popular core temp to monitor the temp, it also show the max cpu temp, so you can get some ideas about your cpu lim...

My friend told me that if you fed ex it to me as a gift you may not have to pay duty. If no one grabs this from you, I guess we'll have to talk. I think you just might be in the wrong forum becuase people here are very likely running their cpus at stock and therefore do not care about getting the b...

I think I'm comfortable with the additional heat from the resistor, what I mean is the resistor has the power grade, when current passes the resistor , the heat is current^2 * r, so if the heat is over the grade of resistor, the resistor will be damaged but my concern is whether or not there will b...

Re: Antec P180B with high temps - CPU idles at 50c
[ you should worry about load temp more then idle temp, if load temp is not that high (less than 60 or so), the whole high temp may be wrong sensor reading. Load temps are: CPU: 59c System: 50c GPU: 59c delta temp is cpu - system it is odd to see the delta temp does not change between the idles and ...

[ I have an AMD 64 3200+ (ClawHammer, which apparently runs much hotter than Venice?), Asus K8V Deluxe (no/poor Turion support and doesn't allow undervolting?) I have same motherboard, you need disable cool and quiet in bias and set cpu frequency and voltage to manul, I set to 1.35 volt for my 3400+...
