gandrusz you should know that more fans does not == cooler eg: a less hot computer. If you take a look a the gallery of some of the members set up's you will see most run 2-3 fans. What are your current system spec's or the system you thought of building spec's? This info will go a long way in helpi...

This is what i found on the power unit in question. http://www.verudium.com/powerxt.phpNeilBlanchard wrote:Hello,
You can easily use a 300watt PSU for that system. I would get something to test it, to be sure that the motherboard was not affected.
I've never heard of a Verudium Power XT -- can you post a link?

I do not feel part of a 'general consensus', rather I've explained why I bought a Solo instead of a P150 :D That statement was not a knock on you. I was simply saying that reading some of the p150 threads on here gives the impression that that case should be avoided cause of the power unit included...

I've seen the P150 in the 140-150 € range, while Solo is about 75-85 €. With ~70 € you can get yourself a good PSU (S12-430), or you can spare some cash and buy one of the less powerful models, or a Be Quiet! StraightPower. The prices might be different for you, though. The lowest i have seen...

First thanks for the complements. @ishi Great budget build ... It came out spectacular. I like the digital readout you mounted in the to of the case, as well the rest of the work done. @paramthegreat The only mods where the removal of that lower rack where the intent was to suspend the drives in a h...

This is the Dimensions 19"(W) x 18.5"(D) x 7"(H) of the case it was going in to. thats perfect...my inches were a little off because i did the math wrong by a lot, the ninja is actually 6.5" not 10.5...either way, you have roughly half an inch leeway for the Ninja. one thing that needs to be know i...

Heatsink Dimensions:110 x 110 x 150mm 480x 202x 435 ok, technically it will fit in a 4U rackmount. however, a 3U rackmount falls short. the main problem is that i've worked with 4U rackmounts, and they don't actually feel that deep once the system is put in. try to measure from the top of the CPU t...

Heres the spec of the current case. Centurion 5 (CAC-T05) 480x 202x 435 (D x W x H) which I loosely translated to inches. 18x7.9x17(D x W x H) It would seem on par with the specs of the case listed before. And the Centurion 5 (CAC-T05) is not the biggest case around, and the ninja fit it with room le...

Thanks a lot for the responses. I'm going to go instead with the Scythe SCNJ-1100P I believe it's a revision-b model. It will be mounted on a biostar t-force 6100 939 inside a centurion 5 case. I have not seen anyone here mount this sink on this board, however I have seen that it will fit in the cent...

It fine how you did it,and a nudge here or there should not not hurt it. As for spreading the paste will fill the voids that are in the sink, and the chips heat spreader during set time. If you want to lower the set time on the artic céramique you can try running one of the many stability test progr...
