i think s.one in this forum should review silenx fans, they offer a good cfm/dba value if this is so. i find so many positive user feedbacks for silenx fans but i need to find some scientific fact about this fan.

it is possibly a better fan than noctua.

I had googled words system, power, consumption, calculator - together and the site I surfed in calculated my systems max power need as ~250W. so i thought using 2 of them would supply me 240 w which is enough as it has they have high efficiency and as my system can never go up as high as 250 W unles...

is it ok or enough to use 2 of them(psus) (240w in total) for

venice 3000
epox npa+ultra
512x2 ram
160 gb sata2 hdd
dvd-r
x550

i thought to use 1 for powering mb
and the other for cpu, hdd and dvd-r

2 fans are identical, so I end up with higher cfm in lower sound levels.

not so much for the cpu (1 degree) but for the hdd (4 degrees)
BTW thanx for the idea, if I had modified the heatsink it could have been a headache :)

Edit: Perhaps MikeC may consider this as a DIY idea 8)

ok I'll try the thing you say, but wont the temp go up as the fan gets far from the heatsink.

maybe if I move the far- B. - fan to the ninja (the surface where you suggest to put A. fan on)

ok I ll try both variations.

actually i only have these 2 fans in my case and my only problem is the nf4 ultra chipset. the b. fan is not for the hdd, i found a way different solution for that and it works 52-54 celcius to 44-46 celcius and there is no fan near. http://img117.imageshack.us/img117/8119/hpim14962qy.th.jpg anyway ...
