The thing's unjustifiably huge. It's bigger than the old G4 Cube , and it doesn't need to be. Huge is a terribly relative term here, don't you think? It's only around 4cm taller than the G4 Cube, 1cm deeper and the same width. Those aren't differences I'd fuss over As for it not needing to be so la...

Personally, I think it looks like a fairly good proposition for a fairly high powered card like the nVidia 7900GT. There's no way you can argue an X1900XTX is power efficient, and it doesn't make a good match for a near-silent system due to its ridiculous power draw - which is the only place you'd w...

I would have thought the X1900 would be pushing it a bit, even if it is only the GT - would a 7900GT be out of the question? They run much cooler and perform comparably. Also bear in mind that the temperatures you'll get even with that will still be fairly "high" by active cooling standards.

I think he wants to know what case would be recommended as second best to the P180, that isn't quite so expensive.

I've tried a few of the 80mm ones - I was going to post here then realised I was basically doing a user review anyway so I figured I should post that and link it here :)
*review taking longer to write than anticipated - will edit in link later!*

I bought one of these simply on the back of it looking nice - used it in my new system build, which I'll have to post on here some time soon. So far, it performs better than my stock NB heatsink (MSI Speedster 915GM), but to be honest that was fine anyway - sadly I just bought the Zalman because it ...

This site has some power measurements - I'm not sure exactly how reliable they are (the nosie measurements are... interesting) but their methodology is all set out at the beginning of the article: http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/video/display/power-noise_6.html The page after that one has the 7300G...

That looks very interesting - I'm not greatly knowledgeable in the area of water/peltier cooling, but it seems to me that this system would require a larger radiator to account for the additional thermal load - and if that is the case, would this not then have a negative effect on overall cooling pe...
