Is this the m12 700 or just something very similar? www.80plus.org/longpath/Seasonic_SS-700HM_700W_80PLUS_Report.pdf Notice the power drop on the 12v rail between the 20% load and 100% load. And that test didn't push the 12v rails to their limits. Is this the S12 Energy+ 550 or just something very ...

Questio,is that calculation forr 2 harddrives? 40W is enough for three HDs, well theoretically if all three HDs would be under 100% load at same time they could consume maybe 45W if they're models with higher end consumption. Two HDs could take ~60W peak at startup but then again GPU and CPU won't ...

RAM is way too slow for them, GPU would still need local big fast memory, which would mean either big die size (embedded memory) or making it card on socket (taking lot of space from motherboard) Or then it would be like in consoles, meaning small (putting fast enough memory in amounts like 2GB woul...

Using heatpipes seems like a much better design decision than using an additional fan as in the m12. The heatpipes work all the time; the 60mm fan activates at high temperatures. Well, actually heatpipes very propably require certain amount of temperature difference to operate. Also it cools only r...

250W for GPUs, 100W for CPU (or do you have NetBurst-heater?), one 100W more for HDs and rest, that should be quite close to practical maximum peak power consumption. You should get something like this: http://www.bigbruin.com/reviews/powerangel/ And then remember it shows also power loss in PSU but...

Generally exhaust air flows at about 38°C. Ambient temperature is 24°C now. I don't now if it's too much high: I think it's a good value Good maybe for PSU's rated maximum power but for idle/Windows desktop that's already very high rise unless PSU is only air exhaust in your case. This is what go...

It's such small case that without seeing insides it's very hard to say how normal ATX PSU fits into it, PSU might be in front of motherboard and CPU, or then it uses microATX motherboard which is lower and PSU would fit to "normal position". It would fit (but not with much space) as long as you don't have many HDs. http://www.cluboc.net/reviews/cases/antec/SOLO/Page2.htm If you have HD directly on other side of PCIeX16 slot installing them (&cables) would require very propably extremely tight fitting/cramming. Fixed cables are about 50cm/20" long, maybe couple cm/1" longer, hard to say when they have been folded tightly inside packet and don't want to stay straight yet.
