thanks a lot for the help:) it really sounds like the pwm temperature. when playing games and such it normally rises to around 60 degrees.
but sometimes it goes totally bananas and bounces between under 20 degress and around 60... what's that all about?

hi speedfan measures three different temperatures on my computer, one is the cpu, one is "system" and the third i really don't know, it behaves strange some times. it reacts really fast on almost anything, when i run for example " super pi" the temperature increases extremely fast. so that points to...

thanks alot:) that was a better program.
but i cant adjust the fans, just shut them off. i dont think there is any difference between for example 5 and 100% fan speed. at 0 it stops.
maybe i dont have proper fans? all the fans have only 2 wires.
