Heh... you're one to suggest others providing evidence. No, I admitted that I am not a scientist and I don't know. But there is apparently considerable disagreement on the subject of Folding, etc. I just mentioned it as an example where a lot of people believe something to be true without question, ...

Hey. Just thought of another one.

Who needs terrorists to destroy what America stands for. We have the Bush administration. I'm John McCain and I support his message; 90% of the time.

Too much? Hrmm..

Her message was to simply not get raped; otherwise you might have to bring a relatives/strangers child into the world and/or let the rapist go because you can't pay for a forensics kit. Hey. Hey. Anyone who doesn't support abortion for rape victims and also makes rape victims pay for their own forensic tests, is more deserving of the scumbag moniker. "The town of Wasilla had rape victims pay for their own medical exams during Palin's mayoral tenure, and Palin's hand-picked police chief ...

Heh.. and when Carl Rove starts stating that McCain's ads have gone to far I have to chuckle a bit more. Wow. If running a campaign is this easy, maybe I'll send them a few li...

Well.. if you need access to more RAM for apps, you can look into the /3GB Switch; the usual 2GB/2GB for user/kernel virtual address space is changed to 3GB/1GB. I'll occasionally use it for CG rendering/calculations/Photoshop at work when I need that extra bit of RAM. It tends to make the system a ...

*nod* We're probably just going with a natural gas furnace. The Hallowell system is just too new, although a few of the big boys are working on similar systems. Thanks for the clarification jaganath.

Neat. Heat pumps are over 100% efficient, although the current generation are only useful down to about 30F. We're currently looking to replace our old oil furnace, after the house is properly insulated, with either a hybrid NG furnace/standard heat pump system or one of these heat pumps good to -15...

Hrmm.. actually, I just looked up current prices and it looks like LP is slightly cheaper than diesel? A gallon of LP provides about 1.5 times less BTUs compared to diesel; I'm not sure on the HP comparison, but the gov states current LP vehicles getting almost similar MPG vs modern gasoline vehicle...

Hrmm. From a few quick searches: - Although Propane burns very cleanly, it gives about a 25% loss of power, and efficiency, compared to gasoline. Unless you use a higher compression engine. - Below 50F outside air temp, it'll be difficult to start an auto running LP; often need a gasoline start firs...

I'll second the Xigmatek HDT-S1283. Although, you'll have to spend another $6-something to get the bolt through connector. I replaced the included PWM fan with a 120mm x 38mm fan hooked to a fan controller.

Heh. I can work with 7C. At worst I'll put in a 120mm fan at 6V and maybe some ducting.

As for it being a "deactivated item", I've noticed Newegg do that on various items; the last I saw being an OEM Q9300.
