it is no longer semantics because 'global warming' now is a LOADED phrase with the implication that it is ALL MAN-MADE via industrialisation It is now linked with the attempt to put curbs and penalties on industrialisation and has the political agenda of slowing down the growth of developing nations...

The motherboard in the Solo is an Asrock Conroe Xfire ... 945 chipset i think. Nice cool running board that always runs at much lower temps than my gaming/entertainment machine which has the Intel Badaxe. Both uses the E6600 cpu. The 7600GT i got is the Gigabyte Silent pipe model. Umm.. there is NO ...

Depends on the ambient temperature. If you are in SUMMER and the ambient temps are in the 30's (degrees Celsius) then idling at 50 deg C is not excessive It is also dependent on the motherboard. HIgh end motherboards with powerful chipsets will keep the CPU 'active' far more than a mid range or low ...

There is 36 A on the two 12V rails combined for this psu according to manufacturer. There were no problems. The board was loaded wit...

Update to my Lian Li build Just got the extra 90 mm fan and proceeded to load it as a 2nd CPU fan. Tried it for a couple of hours and woe is me... it made temps HIGHER! LOL I can only think of a couple of reasons why this would be: 1. 2nd Fan (pulling air out of heatsink) actually BLOCKS airflow fro...

Hi Relleum After a few more days of using the case WITHOUT the 80 mm fan AND removing the grill attached to it, i can safely say i did not miss it one little bit. We got a bit of a heat wave here in Perth Australia, where temps are not coming down from the high 20's C and occasionally approaching th...

Hey, I also got my Lian Li PC-B20 a few days ago and it sure is an aesthetically beautiful piece of work. I wouldn't take it for granted that a monitor will automatically give a better TV picture than an LCD TV purely because of its higher resolution - I've heard complaints for instance that the 24" Dell has severely crushed out black levels compared with a decent LCD TV, although I haven't seen one in...

Any 24" LCD monitor that is native 1920 x 1200 will produce a TV picture that is equal to if not better than any LCD TV with a lower resolution (the reasonably priced LCD Tvs found in retail chain stores are mostly 1360 x 768) As for doubling up as a TV, just get/install a digital TV Tuner card/USB ...

No difference in noise? Well, all that means is that your system is loud enough that it drowns out most of the hard drive noise. The new Western Digital SE16 drives are significantly better than the Seagate 7200.9 and 7200.10 drives. yeah ok...you might just be right .,,,heh I do have 4 fans goin o...
