Instead of the PicoPSU and struggling to find a decent 12V AC/DC brick, how about running an M2-ATX instead... This is what I am thinking of doing! Now you have a 160W PS, and you can put up to 24V into it (Maybe use an old Dell laptop charger 20V 4.5A for 90W, I think you can get a used one for ~$2...
