My BIOS sequence adds about 10-15 secs to the boot process so my actual windows boot time is around 35 seconds to usable desktop. If your BIOS is detecting USB devices at POST then you need to disable the option to seek out USB legacy devices (usually Asus mobos or any new American Megatrends BIOS) ...
