If it's only the fins that causes a problem they are easy to modd to fit. Just cut of some where it's needed Just a thought Yes I have also been thinking the same. :D I guess I will have to buy the Ninja, try to fit it and eventually modify it. It will be interesting to know if this new 500GB 3 platter is as silent as the "old" WD5000KS 4 platter HDD.

It is funny Scythe uses a discontinued fan in the Rev. B. package. According to SPCR article under the last picture (page 6). The Scythe fan included with the SPCR sample was a Scythe DFS122512L.
