But people are not recommending buying a PSU wich runs on 100% load all the time. You'd be surprised. The article that I see getting quoted the most is the DailyTech pre-launch 8800GTX article where they run 3DMark on a GTX and say, "oh look, it only pulls 375W from the wall." (paraphrasing here.) ...

for some reason i used to believe the fan speed was directly related to wattage load, until my friend spelled out the obvious for me /stupid :p yes, my room can get pretty warm, and running everything on low voltage doesnt really help the case temperature. but because of my measured load now, im thi...

Greetings, Shucks. So now the cables come out from the same side of the case for the whole family? Wished they kept it An aside: this is a feature of the Antec Solo that I really like! You can flip the PSU around the way that it fits best... :o Turn the PSU upside down? That surely won't leave suff...

PSU is the last noisy component ... thoughts?
I'm running a Silverstone ST50EF on the following: e6300, P5N-E SLI (650i), 8800GTS 640mb, 2x 320gb sata, 1x dvd-rw, packed into an Antec Solo. There's 2 120mm in there (a tricool on low, sflex on 5v), and a nexus 92mm. I didn't think this setup to be much of a power drawer, and its definitely quiet...

Passive Ultra 120
So i just recently picked up an Ultra 120; considering how performance is just about onpar with the Ninja, it came down to a matter of style, and the 120 wins hands down. I proceeded to try to fit the thing into my Antec Solo (P150) ... and that proved to be quite the adventure. As some of you might...
