X1950 Pro w/ Thermalright HR-03 on Gigabyte DS3P

Hello all, Has anyone got experience with the setup in the subject? I am wondering about the clearance between the top pci-e slot and the cpu cooler (Thermalright Ultra-120) and also a Thermalright HR-05 NB cooler (may leave this off if clearance is an issue) when the HR-03 is installed "over" the X...

Hi,

Will you guys review the new Arctic Cooling Accelero S1 in the near future?

I have been reading about it and I am quite interested in getting this particular heatsink for my Powercolor X1950Pro Extreme as it is currently the "loudest" part in my computer.

Thanks.

Hey Guys,

Thanks for all the comments on why/why not to use RAID5.

But the real reason for me to create this thread was to get comments on my system...

Sorry to sound like a nagging housewife.

Cheers

What are your temps like? I'll let you know this week as I have yet to finish my build. I'm currently just trying to collect information on which way fans need to be pointed for best airflow/cooling efficiency. Also on the fan note, is the fan in the lower chamber "really" necessary or would the fa...

P180B top fan as intake

Good Afternoon All, In my new system I will be using the Thermalright HR-05 NB Heatsink, I read Chris Thomson's article ( here ) where he used the Ninja and the same NB heatsink and he said that it does need some airflow to cool efficiently. As I will be using the Thermalright Ultra 120 I may not ge...

EDIT: You should consult SPCR BEFORE you order the parts I've been reading SPCR for 6 months planning this upgrade  plus I already have 3 WDs in my current computer and they haven't made much of a fuss about themselves so I'm pretty satisfied with them. EDIT: Plus I can't even get those Samsun...

Video card cooling? 1. 1 HDD for my system and applications, 4 HDDs in RAID5 (I know, RAID=BAD) for storing important stuff. 2. These Radeons come with Arctic Cooling X2 installe...
