The Cube looks awesome! http://ecd.coolermaster.com/english/pro ... chassis_03
If this works with a Zotac 9300 and E5200 I'm buying one. Does anyone have any more information? Can't find much on coolermaster's site, or google.

For that kind of money I certainly wouldn't want to be stuck with a Cosmos or similar generic chassis - I would have something custom built. I've been drooling over http://www.atechfabrication.com's stuff for a while now, maybe you should check them out. I'm certain they could build you a case simil...

Don't bother with either, in my opinion. I've tried both and there's no discernable effect. Your mileage may vary of course, but it would be wise to keep your expectations low. :) If I absolutely had to choose I'd go for the acoustipack as the damptek appears to truly do nothing at all, whereas the ...

Although I don't own the A17B, I can tell you with absolute certainty that any number of harddrives in Scythe Himuros will rattle this case very, very badly. Himuros are good for quieting idle and seek noises, but they actually amplify vibrations. Combine that with an aluminimum case and you've got ...

just a curious question, why not use the onboard NIC? what OS are you running? looks like a nice budget rig as well, you could really pick some budget parts to make that a good all-around rig for the generic computer user while keeping up with speed. makes me want an ITX rig >.< That case is obscen...

For what it's worth, the Morpho was designed and built by Abee of Japan. Nexus just slapped their name on it and tried to market it. Fortunately they failed, as that case is hugely overpriced and flawed in many regards. It's not difficult to design an effective and aesthetically pleasing case. The p...

As far as I'm concerned the ideal uATX case already exists. It's Soldam's Windy FC300: http://img230.imageshack.us/img230/197/41464956ng8.jpg There are different color schemes, but this is the only picture I could find showing the interior of the case. Literally any video card produced this millennium will be adequate. 8400GS or ATI equivalent (HD3450?) seem like good choices. I must say I'm surprised that your integrated graphics can't handle 1920*1200 well. Have you tried updating the drivers? I would try this before buying a graphics card. Also...

Nice job! I think it's pretty much impossible to achieve a much quieter system without going all passive. My previous system only had 2 600RPM Nexus fans and an SSD. Passive PSU, CPU cooler, etc. I would almost call it silent and your system has very similar components. I suppose the only way to get...

I'm unsure but doesn't the 9300/9400 not support Hybrid Power and only Hybrid SLI (with a low end card like a 8400/8500GT)? I believe Hybrid Power only works with AMD chipsets. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. :D Just because brands like Asus are smart enough to put Hybrid Power on the box do...

Anitec was seeking a slim, unique stylish box for the general user. This is a pretty good answer to that quest. I agree. Perhaps my tone was slightly too negative. I like the SilenT3, it's just disappointing that it uses a proprietary motherboard design. Something I think most people wil agree with...

SilenT3: A new SPCR-certified system from Anitec. I was seriously considering this until i saw the picture of the motherboard. Its not mATX form factor, which means you must use the motherboard they ship with it and can never replace it. Its too bad, if it was standard form factor i would seriously...

Awesome. :D The craftsmanship and design are superb. Not sure about noise, but inside such a thick, wooden enclosure, I'm sure it's perfectly manageable. The one thing I don't like are the ports and jacks on the front. It makes the case immediately recognizable as a computer, whereas in my opinion a...

Any Leadtek Winfast PX9800GT users here? HELP!
I'm looking to trade down my HD4850 and someone offered their Leadtek Winfast PX9800GT in return. I'm going to accept his offer if someone can confirm that it's a reference design and will fit aftermarket coolers (specifically HR-03 GT). I've already e-mailed Leadtek but they have yet to respond. A 60mm fan that's spinning at anything other than jet turbine RPMs, does not move any air. A mini ITX motherboard is 170mm by 170mm. That leaves plenty of space for a low profile cooler and a 120mm chassis fan above it, if you're opposed to the cube shape. There are some very nice mini ITX motherboa...

Two 60mm fans. Worthless. I can't imagine a person willing to pay a premium for mini ITX only to have it be obnoxiously loud. The form factor lends itself so well to using a single 120mm fan either at the top (if the motherboard is placed horizontally) or on the side (if the mobo is placed verticall...

As far as I know, neither DisplayPort nor DL-DVI support resolutions higher than 1600P, so it'll be a while before you see anything on the market with a resolution higher than 2560*1600 (barring the prototype $50k quad HD displays). Modern grfx card with mounting holes identical to 9600 pro?
Does anyone know of such a card? I'm in a position to buy a Hush ATX (fanless) PC at a very good price, but I'd need to be able to replace the graphics card with one that supports dual-link DVI.
Any suggestions?
