I just visited the website http://www.playonlinux.com/en/ . Since i have adblock enabled by default, i saw what you see on the attached screenshot. I enabled the ads, noticed that they didn't bother me, and then allowed the site on my AdBlock. I think its a good idea to implement it. I think it will...

I am considering using water cooling, like the Zalman Reserator 2. That way i can move the heat outside the box. I should probably need a single fan to remove pilling heat on the box though right? Is there another disadvantage? edit: OK so i thought about the following. I will use a Scythe Orochi fo...

Of course you could always try and see what happens. :) Thats what will hapenn probably :). I am short the motherboard and processor only... If there's not a fan pulling the hot air out of the case, it doesn't matter how low-heat your parts are - as they slowly warm up the air in the case, they'll ...

What if i leave the sides of the P182 open? And if that isn't sufficient, then just also put it sideways so the heat goes up? I am unable to find most cases in greece, especially not passive cases. I even found the P182 by luck :/. I was interested in the Zalman TNN500 but coulnd't find it. (oh, als...

Is a fanless PC possible?
I was wondering... With todays technology is a fanless system possible? I was thinking something like this(note that i am not really interested in having high performance. Average is just fine for me):  Antec P182 Case. Pentium Core 2 Duo E8500 (3GHz) - very low heat generated. Accord...

So... The VGA is really really hot. Dont know why, seeing as it doesnt even have a monitor connected and what i would be seeing if i did is a DOS environement only. Weird. Anwayz The CPU has a 35 degrees temperature without a fan, and room temperature which currently is 22-24 degrees temperature wit...

Controlling a 4pin fan
There are controllers for 3-pin fans, but i can't seem to find a device that controlls a 4-pin fan. O_O
In the recommended fans guide there are manual ways to do it, but i really suck at this, so i wonder if there is a device to do so.

How about some temps' - share with us !!! Will do but i dont have a measuring device yet. Without a fan i wouldn't call it hot, maybe not even warm. I presume that the cooler is about 36 degrees or so. With the stock fan installed, the ninja is not even warm, it has room temperature. I don't know t...

@jaganath: I turned it vertical again although i don't see much difference. I can touch the cooler with my hand and it feels warm, but not hot. My steering wheel is hotter after leaving the car on a shiny day :P @McBanjo. Yeah the cables are messy, need to fix that sometime and also remove those use...

My Zero sound Computer

More specifically, it is at the top of the house's main stairs which leads to all the apartments(total of 2) of the house. Any noise above a c...

<3 Silent PC
About a few days ago i decided to make all my pc silent. Reason is my parents are complaining and stuff, so its better for my ear health to avoid 1)the sound from a computer and 2)their yelling that my computer is too loud :). Yesterday i found this site. A little gem for me. I already found answers...
