I hadnt figured out that i already had an adaptor :)

After taking the bracket off, it looks more like a slimline atapi connector

Without your help i would propably have bought an adaptor and returned it because i didn't fit......doooooh :lol:

Slimline DVD adapter

Hi I have a slimeline DVD drive. I want to use it in my HTPC but i need an adaptor to convert the "laptop conector" to standard IDE. Whats the name for this "laptop connector"?? The Northbirgde cooler does get very hot without airflow.

I use a 120mm (5volt) case fan wich keep the chipset 30 degress or something.

Hi

Yeasterday I bought an ASUS M2A-VM HDMI and i'm satisfied ;)
It undervolts from bios, my cpu is running 1.0 vcore.

It's 690G though,l but it is supposed to perform better an consume less than 6150.

I guess SFX is small form factor
HFX = high form factor???

How do i recognise the brisbane core from the other ones?

thanks. forgot to mention that i'm using a pico-120 psu and micro-atx or smaller. I would like to use integrated graphics to keep size and price down. Hi I'm building a HTPC for DVD/DIVX/MP3 (HD-DVD maybe) I can't decide on a cpu and motherboard any suggestions? passively cooled if possible and hopefully enough "power" for 1080pp (if possible with integrated graphics).
