I am running a HR-03 with 4 heatpipes on the 8800GT passive fitted on the back of the card. It benefits from the CPU and exhaust fan. I also fitted some extra sinks on the mosfets.

Temps are way down from stock.

Seems odd. The load's well within the PSU capabilities. Does it matter which HDD is disconnected? I tested all of them same everywhere. Exactly. I also found that with the top fan as intake VGA temps are a bit lower.
