Thanks. I just needed a cheap one and see if it was "good enough".
I got the KINGWIN Absolute Platinum Series AP-550, it doesn't get hot enough to get the fan running yet.

Is there any Corsair CX430 V2 Series Bronze Plus Rated 430W Power Supply Reviews?
The only one I could find with sound ratings is at http://www.anandtech.com/show/6013/3504 ... eap-psus/3
I see most in this forum posted about the "V1" wasn't good.

Ivy Bridge temps run hotter than many of the previous generations. The NH-L12 is nice. You could also get the Thermalright TRUE Spirit 120M and substitute in the Nexus fan for ~$50-55. Thanks, I think I'll go that route. It is $44 at http://www.ebay.com/itm/Thermalright-TS120M-True-Spirit-120M-for-...

Do not get a Seagate "Samsung F4". It is sooo loud. click click click... I've successfully silenced (set AAM) on two of these Seagate/Samsungs using HDDScan I wish that did the trick, but it didn't. The seeks still makes the same scratching sound. Kind of sad cause that Seagate could do this. I hav...

I initially had a WD10EADS, which was pretty loud. Added a Samsung HD204UI, which is much quieter. I didn't see a review for the WD10EADS, but did see one for the WD--EACS. Looks like the newer generation of WD drives is much quieter? Plus, Samsung drives are no longer Samsung made since they are o...

How long until NewEgg and Amazon have it? Newegg is showing it in stock in several colors and is accepting orders. Amazon has never carried Fractal Design, although some of their resellers carry a few products. NCIX is the other big US and Canada dealer for FD, but they aren't showing the R4 yet. L...

Is a Fanless PSU ok in a room ambient temp of 100 F (~38C)?
During the summer, my room can get hot. I think the max is 90s F, but lets set the limit to 100. Do you think it is ok to have a machine running with 1 case fan and a fanless PSU reasonable? I see the reviews are "tested in ambient room temperature, typically 20~24°C" from http://www.silentpcreview....
