Re: After market heat sink for Cucore 5770/SG06
Yes the S1 R2 does fit on the cucore but its much to tall to fit in the SG06. I was doing mesurments last night and it looks like the zalman VF1000 LED would fit. I read on a few forums that it does fit on the 5770.

VelociRaptor WD1500HLFS Noisy Seek
I have a VelociRaptor WD1500HLFS in a SG06 in the drive tray/heat sink. The SG06 sits on the carpet next to my desk. When doing almost anything I can hear it seeking like its a quantum fireball drive from 1998. I know that 10,000RPM drives can be more noisy that the 7200s but I am thinking there mus...

After market heat sink for Cucore 5770/SG06
I am looking for a heat sink for my Asus cucore 5770 that I have in my SG06. The mobo is a ga-h55n-usb3. I have been doing tons of googling and can't seem to find something that will fit and keep it quite. It looks like the prolimatech mk 13 might fit but I wouldn't be able to fit a fan on it. If an...

Re: Silent Gaming System Build Guide
I have a SG06 and a non ref. 5770 on GA-H55N-USB3 and am looking for a cooler for it. Do you think since the SG07 is almost the same size would the Musashi fit in my SG06?

Thanks a lot! I will get that then. I had no idea that it would fit.IKIKUINTHENUTZ wrote: Do yourself a favor and buy a HR-03 r600, you will save around $30 for a identical item. Don't worry, the precut die on the r600 heatsink fits fine on 4850 cores

Smallest ATX case tower or desktop.
Anyone know what the smallest Full ATX case is. Needs to fit a HR-01 Plus. I have done some searching but there are so many cases and it gets hard comparing dimensions specially when they switch form cm to in and such. Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks

I've already given him some reasons it isn't going to offer a huge improvement, reasons grounded in the basics of heat transfer, and he just decided to leave it at a disagreement, which is fine with me, really. Not sure why it's continuing if we already came to that conclusion though. Uhh...wasn't ...

I emailed Sam the reviewer of the heat sink from overclockers and he said this. "As for the actual measurements, here you go. In total, there are 78 fins spanning a distance of 117.3mm, meaning each fin is grossly 1.5mm apart(including fin thickness). When taking fin thickness into count, the actual...

thats brilliant, Elijah86, is that passively cooled with low/no airflow? and does it still stay cool? It is passive, not much air gets up in the front drive bay area once the front of the case is on. I know it stays cool I just don't remember what it is at most of the time. If I remember I will che...

I used stretch magic 2mm? I think. Also strapped 2 heat sinks to the sides of the HDD from a WD external drive, and for extra cooling for the motor I salvaged a Pentium 2 heatsink. http://img65.imageshack.us/img65/3852/susp1sat9.jpg Click for large. http://img65.imageshack.us/img65/8162/susp2sfk6.jpg

Congratulations Mike :D your hard work is certainly paying off. RE: The door: This will sound a bit crazy and might be no use at all, but have you considered putting a layer of lead on the inside/outside of the door, you would of course have to line it with rubber first, and add a few hinges. Would...
