Last year they were talking about releasing a 4 platter 1.5 TB drive in 2008. But since Samsung usually issues a press release several months before actual availability, I don't think we are going to see anything new soon.

No but the fan that it's fanless and claims 90% efficiency makes it very interesting. Samsung has plans for 5400 rpm 334GB platter drives EcoGreen

Samsung global site has released specs for some new spinpoint drives named EcoGreen F DT. They seem to be using platters with the same density as the current F1. Rotational Speed is 5400 rpm. Idle power consumption seems to be reduced by ~35%.

I think only the AMD Athlon FX and Black Edition had unlocked multipliers (upwards from stock).

if you really need to run the memory at 800 then you can try overclocking the CPU OR HT-Link (don't know which way it works ).
i think you wouldn't notice the performance difference(4%) anyway.

EDIT: And i agree with bonestonne, a case that big isn't really useful in such a system. A smaller case will force the hot air to exit quicker and direct the airflow to the exhaust a little better. The hdd manufcturers really seem to have big trouble getting the smaller models out. WD5000aacs is also to be found nowhere, although they said, it was shipping. Maybe the profit is not big enough yet with smaller models, lets hope they'll improve their production process soon.
