I find the differences in video quality interesting.
Did you compare it to a software rendered frame?
btw Ati drivers have a "smooth video" check-box that disables post-processing features according to load.

Are you meaning perhaps encasing the mouse chips in metal foil and then grounding that? I would say more like open the mouse and line the casing with metal foil. Of course this all will be on your responsibility and you would have to see that you won't short anything (you should probably add a laye...

Optical mice probably have more complicated, advanced and powerful chips inside, so they can process the image. Ball mice on the other hand only need to process the "yes" and "no" coming from the sensor behind the wheel. So I think the "majority" of the EMF is coming from the chips. You could try to...

Thank you for posting the results.
http://www.silentpcreview.com/article286-page4.html
At 106W to 180W AC the seasonic seems to be 84.5% efficient.
So this PSU could be working at 120*84.5/111=91.4%. Too many unknown variables to be sure though.

With Western Digital, the SMART seems to be intuitive and if the read error rate is non zero, then it could indicate you are having a problem. With Seagate however, the read error and hardware ECC recovered values are always high and always increasing. But from my understanding this is normal. Im g...

Anandtech is the best tech site out there but their power consumption numbers are always way off. They say 5850 uses 86W less power than 5870 under load. I really doubt that. That would be about 1/2 of a 5870. We will have to wait for xbitlabs to measure the 5850 before we can compare power usage. ...
