Can anyone recommend an aftermarket single slot cooler that would fit the 4650/4670? The holes are 43mm and I can't find anything to fit.
Thanks!
Alex

So, I've got the Asus mATX version of the 780g chipset and am having some issues. FIrst, I'm using a 5400+ X2, 4gb of ram, 8.3 drivers, and Vista Home Premium 32. When I open Vista Media Center, the animation is jerking, stuttering and the menu navigation is really sluggish. If I run it in a windown...

CPU, mobo, and video card are a frequent topic over at the HTPC forum on avs forum. The newly released 780G mobos (AMD2+) are hopefully going to put an end to needing a separate video card to watch Blu Ray movies. They are supposed to offload the CPU and enable smooth playback. No hard data is avail...

What type of content are you going to be viewing? Blu-Ray and HD-DVD? Over the air HDTV? QAM HDTV? The video card doesn't need to be anything spectacular. The new ATI 3450 is supposed to be sufficient for offloading the CPU enough to enable smooth playback of 1080p material (BD and HDDVD). Thats lik...

POwer Consumption Measurement?
Hi all, I'm sorry for the new post but I was wondering how I can measure the total system power consumption at idle and at full load? Are there programs to use to create full load artificially? Also, Should I use the Kill-a-watt power reader that plugs into the wal socket? I am attempting to see if ...

Man, I'm sorry to hear about your case. That sucks! How are you thikning of mounting the HDD? As a side note, how do you generally suspend the hard drive in a case? Do you have a tried and true method or do you just eye-ball it when you get the case? I was hoping you could shed some light on it for ...

blaster5k, I can't wait to see those pics! I am intrigued by the 100w brick. I am awaiting a mobo with the new RS780 or MCP78 IGP chipset to offload HD/BD content 100%. Plus, supposedly, the MCP78 chipset does 8 channel audio as well. So, Your experience will be really helpful to me in the coming mo...

Just as an idea, I think there is a 100w 12v ac adapter that is fanless available from this place. http://www.idotpc.com/thestore/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcategory=66&idproduct=147 I emailed them directly and asked if the 100w and 110w versions had fans in them. The tech responded and said on ly the 110w ve...
