Totally fanless. you can not get a new one only used ..
I have an X1with 16gb SSD and upgraded to 2gb of ram = no moving parts

It would be nice if there was a place where there could be discussions about components that have no moving parts at all. Fanless laptops with ssd's and stuff like that.

I do not belive in silent products with fans since they start to make noise when they get older...

what do you guys think?

Has anybody done this? I am thinking of buying a used Dell Lattitude X1 because it is fanless. But i want the whole laptop to be solid state. I know that there is a 1.8" hard drive in it.
