Logitech DiNovo Notebook keyboard
It's not the one with the scroll-pad thingy on the right. It's every-bit as nice as the higher-priced model, but not as wide, just the keyboard, and the mechanics are the same. Maybe not *super quiet* but IMHO just a nice keyboard all-around. Very seldom have a problem with dropped keys, and that co...

OK
All I have the cash for now is what I already have.
I have the specs for the peso system at 23w printed out. The time both of you took to add your insights and information is very much appreciated. Thank you.

greenfrank blew me away.
Here I am thinking maybe I can get a, wait for it, OLD SOCKET A system down to 50 watts. Greenfrank has me beat and his system is twice as fast (at least) at idle. Look at http://csv.de/artsearchresult.php?ARTIKELZAHL=10&KATEGORIE=059. Tell me what you think? They don't stock a number of the boards ...

Has anyone see this: http://sandeen.net/fwfix/index.html ? "How to flash a PLCC, using an Intel Pro 100 network card with a PLCC socket as a flash reader/writer." I am ordering one for a couple of bucks. Should be here in about 4 days. I was trying to flash the 8rda3+pro/6+Pro bios onto the 512k Pm4...

vcore
bangers, I cannot control vCore . It's always greyed out, except for one time after flashing 11.72. Does not matter if I used the Insert key to reset cmos or jumper or whatever. I now have official bios's: 11.3 11.5 11.6 11.71 11.72 (although this is a modified version from bosskiller of 11.5) The ...

Re: vcore probs
Hmm. Thanks. Now there are many different versions of Bios collected in the FLASH folder. I've plenty of the silver paint to repair windshields. Updated the board to Bosskiller's B72c, and could connect to ATXP1 and control vCore - once. After going into the bios and swapping the CPU, could not anym...

Mats thank you. Do I only need to close L5 bridge 2 then, and set the processor to Mobile mode, to make the processor 'flexible' again? PS I also have a third board which is a VIA chipset I can test. In any case, I want to get the processor(s) correctly setup. But AMD forgot (thankfully) to lock the...

I'm getting mixed messages.
http://www.ocinside.de/go_e.html?http://www.ocinside.de/html/workshop/socketa/tbred_painting.html Seems to show cutting the first bridge of the L5, when selecting 'Unlock'. Alternatively, http://www.ocinside.de/go_e.html?http://www.ocinside.de/html/workshop/pinmod/amd_pinmod.html shows tying a certa...

Going off memory here, but basically pre-week 35 processors should be unlocked. There is nothing you need to do physically to change them, the motherboard will do it. Weeks 36-43 *may* be unlocked. ... online configurator ... Thanks. I'll have to look into the 'Friend of SPCR'. The online configura...

Controlling vCore on nForce2 (was limited to barton unlock)
Edit: I put the followup at the bottom. No use in starting a new thread. Hi, Tried my luck and I admit I am not too good at searching these forums. I am not a software person at all. Need some help. I don't make any money from running my computer system: I only read websites and basic stuff. Had a S...

Green PC Challenge
I want to underclock my video card, to reduce the heat output and lower the power draw. Any help on the video card, or further setting up the CPU is appreciated. Or any tips. Electricity consumption is a primary concern. The other concerns are heat and noise. Electricity is 20 cents per kilowatt hou...

Buying the 73P2632 in Germany, German Localized.
Now I got a question, is this the same as mentioned in your posts and by the thread opener? geizhals dot at Are you in Austria? I went to hayem dot info, since they seemed to have a good rating, but from their website constraints, the product is only shipped [from them] to the rest of Austria, not ...
