Looks funny (the good kind). I think it'll have a place for hardware enthousiasts who now have their 'case' open and bare on top of their desktop (like a testbench).
If i had a seperate computer room i'd consider buying it.

My bad, but 52C is still a decent temperature, also for a CPU under load.Immortals wrote:52C was actually the temp from one of my E6600's cores. It was at 42C before ATITool, so it must've been getting a ton of hot air from the card.
Has anyone tried ziptieing a fan to the SI that blows away from the card?

Re: Best Fan Configuration for the Thermalright Ultra and a
I've heard that if you are running a Quad, your fans in this configuration should run >1000 to keep it cooler (blancing noise/cooling) rather than around 700RPM when you are running a Dual Core.... is this a Myth? I'll blow this one out of the water for you. I run a Q6600 (overclocked) with a TRUE,...

When I ran ATITool's artifact tester (both Accelero fans on), I noticed that my CPU temp went up 10 degrees to a whopping 52C. That seems awfully high Euhm, 52C is pretty good for a graphics card when used (ATItool running). My 8800GT on stock ran at 70C(ish, dont remember exactly) idle and 90C+ wh...

Is this the sort of thing sound-damping foam is meant for? It's meant to muffle/distort the sounds to make them easier on the ears, yes. (well some people will say it'll make it less noisy, but i've yet to hear that happen in reality). I have a similar noise as well, when i'm torrenting, so i assum...

Intel is trying to push Nvidia out of the lower and mid end market, which is where the most money is made. On top of that Intel started with a bit of smacktalk about GPU's being obsolete. Nvidia responds with some bad mouthing, nothing that wasn't to be expected though. They just need to be carefull...

For the GPU, Accelero S1, best option and you can run it without attaching fans safely. CPU cooler, perhaps a Ninja Mini? Don't know your pricerange but the Thermalright Ultra Extreme 120 would be the best, but perhaps a bit overkill for such a processor. 92mm fans i have never used, so i wouldn't k...

Win2k and XP have been rock solid for years. I can count my BSODs on one hand.
