How about we put together a list of what (if anything) we think Obama will accomplish by the end of his term. Lets also throw in some sayings and predictions.
Then in 4 or so years we can see who was right! (and perhaps more importantly, who was wrong...)

What did we gain from that battle? Sometimes the war is not about ourselves. To withdraw now from Iraq would be the most horrible move that we can make. Currently, our troops over there, quelling the terrorists, assisting the Iraq government, training their soldiers to fight their own battles. We h...

The answer without a question
I have seen a lot of these "war is not the answer" signs lately, (what can I expect, living in Washington...) and I allways wonder what the question is. It seems that it would be logical to define the question before deciding what isn't an answer. Any help would be appreciated.

Passive 8600 on Newegg
I was looking for a new graphics cade to replace my old ATI X1300 PRO. While surfing around, i came across this card on Newegg, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127310 MSI Nvidia 8600, 512mb, and a PASSIVE heatsink. Is the stock heatsink good enough to keep it cool and quiet?...

Hello Sam, Heres a site that has some nice easy to read graphs that show global temperatures. http://openlearn.open.ac.uk/mod/resource/view.php?id=172089 And humans are affecting it this time around ! Just because it was hot before, doesn't "prove" that we are not affecting it. But just because it ...

Assuming a closed room (no heat enters or gets out), opening the door of a working freezer will result in heating up the room. The heat is transported from one side to another, but the electrical energy of the compressor is added to the refrigerant. The net result is, you add the energy of the comp...

So according to you (Floffe), the oceans are rising and someday they will cause millions of people to become homeless. Then it seems that the smart move would be to start the moving process now. I certainly don't believe of the oceans rising thingy, it just seems that anyone who does believe it shou...

I have seen some evidence that "proves" that temperatures rise before CO2 rises. I have also seen evidence that "proves" that temperatures rise after CO2 levels rise. I cant find either pieces of evidence to post (i.e. not from Wikipedia), if anyone else can find them that would be great. I believe...

Yo, again This hole argument is useless unless someone provides some actual data that supports thier claim. Out of the five pages (so far), there's a lot of arguing and not much support. it's considered a highly unreliable publication and unsuitable for reference . Do you wonder why it is unaccepted by most people? It's because most people don't believe what it says. Anyway, it already has been signed by 19,000 American scientists. Also, heres the site the pdf is on. http://www.ois...

And nature doesn't care, like at all, if you and your kind are wiped out in the process of reaching a new balance. I don't care and nature doesn't care, huh. So why don't we let nature take its course, not try change it. Polar bears, I'm sure, have changed the planet. Why don't the polar bears try ...

If you can think of any, read this to see if they are there. http://www.oism.org/pproject/GWReview_OISM600.pdf
Happy hunting. Poor global warming...... might break its heart if no-one can find anything.

Hello, The ice caps, permafrost, and glaciers are melting faster than they were. I think you mean "some" are melting faster than others. But according to here, http://www.iceagenow.com/Growing_Glaciers.htm That shouldn't make much difference if more ice is forming right behind them. Also, the earth...

HI, again, I am in the need of a quiet 92mm fan. I am pretty sure that the case I got (Antec Solo) only comes with the one 120mm fan, and I need another one to use as an intake. I looked at the SPCR 92mm fan roundup thingy but could not find anyplace that sells them. Any help would, uh, help. Thanks

Totally off subject I know, but here. If torture is wrong, think of the circumstances. If the US had gotten hold of someone who new about the planned attacks prior to 9-11, would they have been justified in using torture to get the information? Its not "clearly stupid" to me. Killing is wrong also, ...

Ok, I stuck a pencil in the front fan and turned the pc on, somewhat quieter. The side fan makes even less of a difference. So I covered the front fan with a cd case and it was much quieter (not silent or anything, just better). So I'm guessing that a good portion of the noise is escaping through th...

One question. Why is it that my case is bad? If it's because of the front fan, then I'll just remove it and get a bigger fan somewhere else. I don't really see the advantage of replacing the whole case instead of just the fans. What would the difference be, other than coming (maybe) with pre-install...
