Re: Journey to a Silent MicroATX Gamer
How come the TJ08-E was not among the case alternatives? Is the Sugo 10 a better micro-atx case overall?

Combo of PS07 and TJ08-E coming in 2015.
Its the "KL06". http://www.cowcotland.com/news/42372/computex-2014-silverstone-kublai-kl05-kl06-precision-ps11-fortress-ft05.html I wonder if it isn't more of a revision of the PS07 as what makes the TJ08-E so effective is the 180mm fan but they opted for 2x120mm? Things they did however fix it seem...

Re: Noiseblocker NB-eLoop 120mm fans
I made the misstake of ordering 3 of the elop B12-PS series because i forgot i had a bad experience with the 800rpm version. These fans are catastrophic. There is a audible buzzing noise that isn't just airflow being pushed. It is noticible even at 700rpm

Even thou its a cool concept for a true DYI build, the cost is staggering for a music server with less then 1TB space.

Nice build. Could you post pics with panels closed up?
I wonder about the 2x80mm solution, is it beneficial? Meaning have you tried without to see if temps change?

Any update on the speed? I don't really buy the 24 hours excuse, seems sketchy, but out of curiosity have you tried running them for one or two days straight? My Asus GTX660Ti have 2 fans and the lowest they will go is 10% at 1020rpm. However at this point i cant seem to hear them because the vibration from 1 of my hardmounted Scythe GT 800rpm are louder because of vibration, also the 180mm fan as intake is problably louder at 400rpm.

As the title says, it's pretty simple: Whats the best card out there that will not require removing parts and buying 3rd party ones, that will have the best idle levels out there while performing as best as possible in games? You have a good point. Either work on those pages more regularly or get others to do it for me. Re: Harddrive screw broke off :(
The only thing that you can do is to drill out the screw which is risky for your own safety as well as for the HDD. Suspension is the best route, but in the TJ08-E the drive would have to be suspended at an odd angle or in a spare 5.25" drive bay. Good luck. Andy Yes i have decided i wont risk the ...

Back again about my Slipstreams. I wrote last spring about some failing fans. Well a good cleaning and they're running again - albeit not at full speed. I figure that it is a matter of time before the slow ones do reach an unuseable speed and the ones still running fien (2/5) start to slow. I had o...

I would suggest the Cooler Master Hyper 212 plus instead. Its cheaper and performance will be just as good. SPCR even has a review on it.
Its unfortunate the Thermalright HR-02 Macho isn't on newegg. Would have been the best choice.

I had issues with RPM wiht noiseblockers also, the NB S1 are suppose to be 750rpm fans, but all 7 that i bought ran at 850rpm at 12v in 2 different mobos. Re: Noiseblocker NB-eLoop 120mm fans
The reply i got from Noiseblocker on why the fans only run at 600rpm instead of the specified 800rpm is that they need to be run for 24h before the reach their max speed. I find this odd considering SPCR did a review of the Noiseblocker multiframe and didn't say anything about loong timeframe to rea...
