Here's a quick guide with pictures. Materials: Well-lit work area Screwdriver necessary to open your mouse (For me it was a Phllips #1 driver) X-Acto Knife or very small flat-head jewelers screwdriver (#0-#000 should do the trick) Steady Hands http://i291.photobucket.com/albums/ll284/SolidxSnake1322...

Yup, that's exactly what I do for the scroll wheel in every mouse I buy. It feels much smoother.
