I agree the Sapphire 4670 Ultimate is excellent choice for HTPC & gaming
but it is not selling in HK...
I wish they will sell it soon

DVI+HDMI output required
Sorry for the stupid question, hope someone can answer it...
Is it possible to use 780 or 790 IGP output to my monitor by DVI.
At the same time, use ATI 4550 output to Plasma TV by HDMI?
And can it have something like cross-fire function, so that I can play high graph quality game?

Here is another review from ProClockers . Wow. I'm surprised and impressed that the case fit an Ultra 120 cooler with no problems. That opens up a lot of options for CPU cooling not generally considered in an HTPC case. If it fits then I will go for Thermalright HR-01 Plus, it is few CM lower than ...

Asus P5Q-EM + E7200 Dear Erikt, Is your system hot? How about the power consumption, is it high? I run no intake fans, and my only exhaust fan is the PSU fan. So far, I've encountered no instabilities. I haven't checked the temperatures since I first built this machine, but they were reasonable, at...

yup i measured as 44.5cm wide, 45.3 long hey jacky do you mind telling me how you got that to work? You must use the power extended cable provided with the case. and there is a VERY special plug for the front display... Then refer to a piece of manual which stated ABCD connector, you connect one of...

So between Ultima-90 & Ninja Mini, which one should I choice? I think it depends on your plans. You can't really go wrong with either one, but I'd probably go with the Ultima 90 for an overclocked configuration, and stick with the Ninja mini for a fanless system. I think the Minja's open structure ...

I finally got my fusion max a few days ago, and I pretty much agree with zetaepyon's pros/cons. The LCD brightness is controllable by the imon software in case anyone is worried. Another small con is that if you choose to use the remote to turn your computer on, the power button is useless and vice...

In any case, it looks to be ready to handle both full-height cards and a substantial CPU heatsink. This is definitely true. There's quite a bit of room above a full-height card, actually. I'm hoping that it's enough to allow for a heatpipe-type GPU cooler, but haven't been able to test that out yet...

Dear all, Finally I finished the installation last night. I lost my card reader, so that I couldn't upload any photos, sorry. But I would like to list the pros & cons here: PROS: 1. Good airflow (large case with a lot of space) 2. Silent (14cm + 12cm case fan with speed adjustable control at the bac...

I can, since IGP always consumes less power than discrete card. Besides what I play in mainrig are limited to Civ 2, Ragnarok Online, Ceasar III and other old city simulations by Impression games. From what I have seen the 780G/790GX consumes the same power as a HD 2400/3450. They are the same GPU ...

I hope there are some alternative solutions. (for example: E7200 with EXCELLENT blu-ray & video decoding nivida IGP motherboard) Supposedly coming. Who knows when? The IGP was called Nvidia 9300 , when last I heard, but nothing lately. I think G45 will eventually be pretty decent for those primaril...

Cool, very professional information. Thank you very much :D I think I will go for an AMD CPU with 790GX or N78... From graphic (watch DVD or movie) point of view, 790GX should be better. but there is a big different for power consumption among different brand (e.g. ASUS, Gigabyte) Highly appreciate ...

INTEL VS AMD power consumption
Dear all, A stupid question from a new guy to HTPC like me... I would like to compare between Intel & AMD with different motherboard. Does anyone have the answer? 1. Intel E7200 + ASUS P5QL-E P43 + ATI 2600XT(or ATI 3X00) 2. AMD CPU (don't know which one is the lowest power consumption, assume the s...

forget about express gate first... The key is the energy saving here... The test showed not a big difference for paying more... Why we bother to buy this? Any not Gigabyte?
