@layla: no external HD for me; I only ever filled up 5 GB of the 80 GB HD on my last machine, so 16 GB is plenty. @dougz: YouTube vids run fine. Hulu doesn't work in Canada. It really is silent. Key pitch is 17mm - to compare to what you have now, measure the 10-key row QWERTYUIOP - whatever its width is in cm is pitch in mm.
