http://img64.imageshack.us/img64/2505/s6303450.th.jpg Recently I bought a universal notebook power brick, Trust PW‑2120 . It is very useful when you need to supply something in range between 12 and 22V with up to 8A (not much than 120W power). There is a teeny fan inside, as you can see, and yeah...

What do you exactly mean by simplicity? The functionality you don't need eating additional energy -- you can avoid this. I'm not familiar with the differences between the G31 and G41 chipsets. AFAIK, there is not a one crucial difference to tell about. Even mainboards look absolutelly the same. Als...

The problem is that although my motherboard allows changing the voltage of the GPU and sideport memory, it doesn't indicate what the default voltages are. You can measure any V you like manually by the means of a digital multimeter. Just make us a few hi-res photos. GPU-Z says that the bus width of...

The motherboard has a 24pin and a 4pin additional power connector. Yeah, these four ends are useless in low power setup because they just duplicate already existing power rails -- in case you have a powerful GPU in PCI-E it will need some additional current from the old ATX20. So it is designed to ...

I'm not sure if it would show lower -- depends on good the Active PFC in the EDAC is -- it apparently has APFC. Yes, you right.
