Re: Passive 750 Ti announced
Finally a passive 750 Ti is on its way! :) The article is in Swedish, it says the card will be about €20 more and looks like it will occupy 3 slots. Memory will be underclocked a bit to 5.0 GHz. It seems 3 slots but I think it will actually be 2 slots if you look at the 3rd picture on their website...

Re: Efficient 12v brick in the UK?
I've tested various power bricks a while ago for my system and I got these numbers: Seasonic 80w (SSA-0901-12) - Idle 21W, Load 48W Meanwell 80w (GS90A12-P1M) - Idle 24W, Load 51W FSP 84W (FSP084-DMAA1) - Idle 21W, Load 53W Delta 90W (Got this one from a QNAP NAS) - Idle 21W, Load 49W So I can recom...

Re: Silent Lian Li PC-TU200 PicoPSU ITX Build.
Seems I'm not the only one with PSU noise at idle. (I have PicoPSU160XT+192W power brick from mini-box) Are all the other power bricks noise-less? The 60W one I got from mini-box is fine. Other power bricks are much better than the 150w one, but when the computer is off they do make a slight buzz o...

Re: Silent Lian Li PC-TU200 PicoPSU ITX Build.
I'm curious about why you chose this Lian Li case. It is really quite big for MiniITX and as you are not running a full size PSU or many components, I would have thought that one of their much smaller cases would have been more suitable. Yeah, true. I did consider other smaller cases also but I lik...

Re: Silent Lian Li PC-TU200 PicoPSU ITX Build.
What's sitting between the noctua and the case? Looks like another fan or some sort of adapter? It's a 140mm to 120mm fan adapter. I don't need much airflow (with current setup, completely passive is no problem), the case only have 140mm fan mounting holes in the front and the 140mm fans I tried wa...

75c furmark with that card is perfectly fine. If it's to hot for your liking mount a fan on it and be done with it

Re: Mount a Fan on 5750 silent cell
I have the 5770 silent cell. Put a 800 rpm 120mm Scythe slim on it with some zip ties and a cord (my zip ties where to short on that side  ) http://img535.imageshack.us/img535/4444/sam0072m.jpg http://img696.imageshack.us/img696/1494/sam0073hl.jpg Not that hard to mount a fan on any kind of he...

Haven't tested the 4670 in games yet but reading the reviews, i'm sure it will do fine considering my needs. I'm running all my games now on an ati 9800pro. I wanted some airflow for the HD so I put it in the middle bay because i moved the lower fan to the front of the middle bay. I don't like the l...

PC upgrade. P182, e8400, ati 4670.
So i finally decided to upgrade my old AMD Athlon xp 2600+ pc. My build requirements were low noise and power efficient for everyday non intensive usage and occasionaly light gaming. Didn't want to do a lot of modification so I chosed the P182 for a quiet build. After surfing the web for a while i c...
