Might have a look for different heat sink then one that doesn't use a backing plate. Don't see the point in the backing plate anyway.

I need a heat sink that fits like the intel one that comes with the i3 where there is no backing plate just a push down click into place

What about 4 washers on each corner of backing plate?

You can get fanless PSU that sit up in the same place as normal PSU's sit so just having a look at those too
